Scholastic + Pedagogical Mapping
Consolidate faculties to create stronger precincts within the College and bolster and enable a contemporary learning, support and teaching model

Purpose-built and refurbished buildings will support the delivery of each of these precincts

Concept allows 6-8 General Learning Spaces per House, with the ability to grow in the future
Navigation
A new pedestrian spine will improve wayfinding and access across the College campus
A new front entry will improve the street appeal
An extension to the Riverwalk will provide further connection to the river and celebrate the unique aspects of the campus
Covered connectivity
A new covered lane will provide weather protection and create new social spaces to contribute to College life, culture and values
A built form strategy of lifting new buildings above the ground will create a series of undercrofts
Lines of Security
New car parking and drop-off facilities will support safe access to the College campus for students, staff and visitors
A new fence and landscaping along Hawthorne Road and Virgina Avenue will improve and simplify security and enhance street appeal
Landscaped Edges + Green Space
Extensive landscaping will create green spaces for social use and mitigate glare, shade, and weather effects
Open space + Gathering
New open spaces will be created for socialising, learning, gathering, recreation and reflection and will celebrate heritage elements of the campus and the history of the College
Public + Parent Destinations
New and reconfigured access points will provide opportunities for separate public access to College facilities and spaces without impacting the function or security of the College
Parent and visitor accessible areas are located to the perimeter of the school for ease of access
